SiS Parent Connect – A Portal for the SchoolInSites Parent
 
In continuation to SiS Connect, SchoolInSites is proud to present “SiS Parent Connect”, a secure app that helps parents get timely information on their childrens attendance, assignments, grades, discipline reports and important events on their iPads/ iPhones.SchoolinSites currently serves more than 6,000 schools and districts across 48 US states, allowing our new SiS Parent Connect to deliver valuable information to potentially hundreds of thousands of parents. 
 
This unique app provides a single view where a parent can see all of one’s children as well as add other guardians who may be interested in being informed of specific child’s progress. SiS Parent Connect, therefore helps parents stay constantly in touch with the academic progress of their children. In addition, the app also allows students to log in to view their individual data.
 
The user interface has been designed to make it easy for the user to get to the information they are looking for in no more than 3 three clicks. The information presented has been laid out slightly differently on the iPhone and the iPad to make the best use of the form factor of each device. Through the use of standard iOS capabilities, and through a carefully executed UI scheme, we tried to meet the standard set by Apple to make SiS Parent Connect a simple and a highly usable application that will help parents and students across the nation stay closely connected with their progress at school.
